“You can’t beat it, it’s the most rewarding job in the world”.
“You get paid to have an awesome day!”.
“I’ve never had a job where I’ve felt like I’ve actually made a difference”.
These are pretty powerful statements aren’t they? Would they make you wonder where these people work? What do they do? And most importantly – how do I get that level of job satisfaction?

pace worked with Milestones Trust to develop a full integrated marketing campaign with the aim of recruiting new staff.
Milestones Trust is a social care service provider, offering residential, nursing, and supported living services to support people with learning disabilities and mental health needs. They employ over 1,100 staff to support over 500 people – and with the demand for more care rising there was a need to recruit more amazing people to work for them and continue to improve the happiness, independence, and quality of life for those who need it.

Recruitment into the social care sector continues to be a highly competitive market, with competition from the high street and domiciliary care organisations attracting people away. The Trust was therefore looking to refresh its brand, bringing a fresh approach to the recruitment website and supporting materials.
Key to the refresh were real members of staff telling their stories of why they do their role with Milestones Trust and why they love it!

Working with a photographer and videographer we visited the various sites across Bristol, South Gloucestershire, and North Somerset to capture the breadth of job opportunities on offer, the different people that they support and the services they offer, as well as capturing what it means to work in the various roles at the Trust.

The case studies acted as the “face’” of the Trust, each communicating a different story, each showing what can be achieved when “together we…”.

The videos, the photography and the content from the interviews provided such powerful content that could then be rolled out across multiple platforms – bus shelter advertising, a bespoke recruitment website, social media platforms, vehicle livery, recruitment exhibition materials, banners, flyers, posters, merchandise, the list goes on….

The “Together we…” campaign message was developed to sit across the website and all the supporting materials, capturing all the different all the different elements of what the Trust does every day.
